So, I have been itching for a change. A new year is around the corner, and I am feeling a bit stagnant with my energy so after helping a friend redesign her space, I realized that I needed a redesign myself. I was looking into expensive rugs for a splash of color but the rugs I like run around $700. Instead, I went to Home Depot, and get a splash of teal blue. It made a DRAMATIC difference. I ended up spending $80 and a rainy afternoon yesterday transforming my living room. This one wall I painted, was more striking than the rug would have been. Here is a before and after photo.
