I have been listening to a band called EMPIRE OF THE SUN. They are huge in Europe and doing really well in the states if you keep up with Pitchfork or a music hipster. Check them out by going into myspace. They will be during soon in the states soon.
New York, NY - August 9, and in Los Angeles at the Henry Fonda - August 11/12/13. Check them out and tell me what you think.
Also, I still can't get the Bravery off my ipod. I know, they new cd is sort of a downer, but I I still love the 1st and 2nd cd's they did. The Switches, Lemon Sun, Passion Pit,and Dead Weather are some other bands great for the summer parties.
