ITS BEEN A MINUTE. 2022.

ITs 2022. The last post I did was in 2013. I loved my blog. I loved blogging. Then...life happened...and for me, I had a little curveball with my dad being diagnosed with cancer. Now that 9 years has passed...father is passed on moved on to greater things where I know he is thriving...along with my favorite person on the planet who we lost during the pandemic in 2020, my grandma...a move to NYC in 2016 was the move i made. I needed to bounce from this life lesson and see if i had anything left in me. With the help of alot of friends in the publishing industry, like Riza Cruz & Anne Fulenwider at Marie Claire ...and also Graydon Carter at Vanity Fair I got back in the game, but I was behind the camera. I did what I set out to do, which was to see if I could do this photographer thing, and crush it. The universe helped me. I crushed it. It was a miracle, but I do think that maybe my dad had something to do with it. Now 2022...IM back in LA. I am fast fowarding to now...in the midst of a pandemic that is winding down, after vaccines have come out and the stigma of dying from Covid is lessened... I randomly decided to look at my blog from a decade ago. I sort of loved it. Loved looking at what I chose that turned me on... and just remembering when life was a little more simple. Safer. I think I am gonna go back to this fun safe place, and start again. 2022. Here is a recent photo of me from Italy with a college friend Christina Iwase, who I have know since I was 18. She's a force of nature that NEVER quits. She has brought a little joy to my life recently on this Trip to Sicily, Italy...Taormina.
